Waiting for official Riot application approval
Before CAL can run its first competitive season, the platform needs production access to Riot Games' Tournament API. That approval is what lets us create verified tournament lobbies, generate the tournament codes players use to join matches, and automatically record results. We've built and tested all of this against Riot's development environment, but running a real season requires the production credentials that only come through Riot's official review process.
Right now, that application is still in Riot's queue. Until it's approved, we can't guarantee legitimate, verified matches or reliable result tracking, which is the whole point of the league. So Season 1 stays on hold until we're cleared. The rest of the platform continues to move forward in the meantime, and we'll post an update here the moment approval comes through.
